Last Saturday, members of our Maimonides Medical Center team in New York City joined thousands of
people across the U.S. to participate in the Walk to End Lupus Now event. This autoimmune disease
afflicts roughly 1.5 million people in the U.S., and has no known causes or cure. Lupus can strike anyone
at anytime – but did you know, that 90% of people living with Lupus are women? Please check out the
