Congratulations to the entire Moffitt McKinley Hospital team – the new, 172′ long pedestrian bridge is now installed over McKinley Drive! The team coordinated closely with the City of Tampa to address all MOT items ahead of time and on Friday, the installation began. Each step was carefully planned, orchestrated, and supervised – and on Sunday afternoon the installation was complete! This bridge connects the 2nd floor of the new hospital with the existing McKinley Outpatient Clinic across the street and provides an elegant design solution that will enhance staff and patient experiences at both these facilities. Congratulations again – this project is truly changing the urban landscape of Tampa and most importantly, it is furthering state-of-the-art cancer care for our community!
