Yesterday’s Topping Out was a great success and we’re thrilled with the progress of this exciting project! In appreciation for their hard work, we hosted over 300 subcontractors to a BBQ lunch, project T-shirts and numerous prizes. When complete, the 325,000-SF CAE Headquarters, Manufacturing Building and Training Center will provide offices, high-bays and a state-of-the-art training facility for aviators. Steve Baigrie, VP Engineering, Defense & Security at CAE addressed the crowd and offered praise: “Thank you to Space Florida and the Tampa Airport Authority – they’re our partners in this endeavor. And it seems appropriate that we’re here just after Memorial Day – we’re in the training and simulator business in the US, and CAE overall trains most of the civil aviators and defense forces worldwide. So you all are really here supporting our mission to make the world a safer place and we thank you.” Congratulations to the team and keep up the good work!
