On this date in 1927 our firm was incorporated in the State of New York. 95 years in business is a great milestone and one that surely would make our founder, Joseph R. Barr proud! Mr. Barr strongly believed in the principles of honesty, integrity, accountability and passion – and because of our steadfast adherence to these principles, we’ve grown steadily throughout our long history. In fact, as a 100% employee-owned company, each one of Barr & Barr’s employees celebrates this great accomplishment together! Joseph Barr used to say “Your legacy is what you’ve built.” As we continue to build today, we reflect on Mr. Barr’s philosophy while also continuing to push forward with excitement about the future!
