Reginald Shubert Named Corporate Safety Director

In honor of Safety Week, we would like to announce that Reginald Shubert was named the Corporate Safety Director for Barr & Barr. Reginald brings over 25 years of hands-on construction experience and expertise in implementing and monitoring Safety Programs. He started his career as an ironworker and then moved into a safety role at Barr & Barr for many years before starting his own safety consultant company. As Barr & Barr continues to expand, with the latest office recently opening in Raleigh, North Carolina we strategically selected Reginald to fill the Corporate Safety Director role based on his impressive skill set. He will oversee the safety operations for all of Barr & Barr’s regions and ensure that corporate policies maximize the safety of every worker on our sites. Reginald has earned the respect of management and subcontractors in the field by steady, firm leadership and serving as a constant presence on the construction sites. His commitment to a culture of safety and safe working conditions will play a vital role in the success of all Barr & Barr projects. Reginald holds numerous certifications and affiliations some of which include Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST) certification, Safety Trained Supervisor Construction, EMT-B, and Authorized OSHA Outreach Trainer for Construction (OSHA 10/30-Hour Courses). He has also created and chaired several safety committees which comprised Owner, GC, Project Labor Management, and various trade representations. In his free time, Reginald is a track team coach and enjoys riding his motorcycle and spending quality time with his wife and children.
