Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital — Parking Deck and East Tower, New Brunswick, NJ
The project includes a nine-story garage capable of holding 650+ cars and a new service vault with new substation and generators. On top of the garage will be two stories of office space and a data center. The structure and building systems are designed for additional vertical expansion in the future.

PROJECT DETAILS
Located at the east end of the hospital’s campus between Little Albany Street, Route 27, the Amtrak Train tracks and the hospital’s existing garage.
Extensive coordination with Amtrak due to the location of adjacent and active railroad tracks.
Logistics will include a limited staging area, alignment with existing garage, Amtrak required clearances and access to the existing hospital facilities.
Investigation and materials survey to verify and expose hidden subsurface / soil conditions.
Implementation of several early design release packages to ensure procurement of long-lead items to meet overall project schedule constraints.
