The project consists of a new, six-story, 120,000-SF Guest House for hospital patients and their families. The building has 173 guest-rooms (including twenty accessible guest rooms), entry lobby with reception area, bar and lounge area, and related food preparation facilities. Other amenities include: fitness room and linear park with walking paths. The building exterior envelope is a combination of curtain wall, low-e insulated glass, and a custom fabricated weathering steel rain screen panel system. The roofing system is SBS modified membrane and the building structure is an auger-cast grout pile foundation system, with reinforced concrete at the floors and roof decks. This project was completed in May, 2020.
