Calvary Hospital Hospice at the Mary Manning Walsh Nursing Home, New York, NY
The Calvary Hospital founded in 1899 provides acute and palliative care to adult patients with advanced and life limiting illnesses, partnered with the Mary Manning Walsh Home on Manhattan’s Upper East Side to provide short term inpatient care as a Calvary Hospice, aka The Dawn Greene Hospice.
A generous gift from the Greene Family Foundation, helped Calvary Hospital to build 10 private rooms with private bathrooms. The rooms are designed and built to provide an at home atmosphere while also fulfilling the facility and staff needs required for this particular patient care. The Multi Faith Chapel was remodeled as well to provide a quite area for family members.
As a result of the success of this project, we were awarded a second project from ArchCare.
