Yale University Bass Library recieves 2008 New England Regional Golden Trowel Award |
13 October, 2008 - Barr & Barr is proud to announce that the Yale University Bass Library recently received a 2008 New England Regional Golden Trowel Award from the International Masonry Institute (IMI). The competition recognizes outstanding achievements in architectural design, construction and craftsmanship in masonry.
Projects submitted had to be located within New England and had to use as dominant exterior and/or interior design components such masonry materials as: brick, concrete block, autoclaved aerated concrete, cast stone, natural stone, manufactured stone, tile, marble, terrazzo, plaster, mosaic, glass block, thin stone, thin brick, other adhered masonry veneers, terra cotta rain screen walls or any other masonry trowel trade construction system.
