The Syracuse University New Life Science Complex issued a Certificate of Occupancy |
17 August, 2008 - Barr & Barr was recently issued a Certificate of Occupancy for the New Syracuse University Life Science Complex. Located in Syracuse, NY, Syracuse University is a diverse institution of higher education dedicated to faculty excellence and scholarly distinction.
The project consists of a four to five-story, steel-frame, masonry and curtain wall Life Science Center. The scope includes biology and chemistry teaching labs, classrooms, administrative offices, conference and support spaces, a Vivarium and a greenhouse. In addition, an atrium connects the new complex to the existing Center for Science and Technology. The project also includes an above ground 250-300 car parking structure constructed at an adjacent site.
Congratulations to the project team; they have exemplified what a project managed by Barr & Barr represents to the owner and community.
