Baystate Franklin Medical Center issued a Certificate of Occupancy |
6 January, 2008 - Barr & Barr was recently issued a Certificate of Occupancy for the final phase of the substantial renovations to Baystate Franklin Medical Center. Located in Greenfield, MA, the Baystate Franklin Medical Center is a 93-bed acute care community hospital that serves the Northern Tier of northwestern Massachusetts.
The phased renovations were constructed to support Franklin Medical Center's Strategic Facility MasterPlan. The projects expanded clinical and program capacity in the Radiology and Emergency Departments and improved the functionality and aesthetics of the Inpatient Medical/Surgical Units (and ultimately the patients, visitors and staff experience with the Franklin Medical Center campus facilities). Project scope also included new patient and ambulance entrances and a complete HVAC/electrical facility infrastructure upgrade. All construction was completed while hospital activites remained in operation.
The Medical Center’s ambition was to improve their market presence and operational efficiency by creating a state-of-the-art facility for their patients and staff within a patientcentered, healing environment. Congratulations to the project team for their efforts in making this goal a reality.
