ICU Addition completed at the Mercy Medical Center in Springfield, MA |
12 October, 2007 - Barr & Barr has recently completed the ICU Addition at the Mercy Medical Center in Springfield, MA. The 15,879 square foot addition adds space for up to 16 ICU beds and is the first of a two phase modernization project that includes the renovation of the adjacent Post-Anesthesia Care and Ambulatory Services Unit (ASU).
The ASU Renovation is currently on-going and will encompass approximately 17,365 gross square feet of existing area and provide for approximately 14 Pre-Op beds, 15 PACU beds and 14 Stage 2 Recovery (Post-Op) beds.
